Feets don't fail me now

Red this week is seen in the red tile with the grout that needs to be cleaned. This is in the passenger tunnel between tracks at Union Station in New Haven, CT.

My usual method of ambulation, so to speak, is my Pride 1103 Ultra wheelchair. And I get to glide over the floor without marking the soles of my old boat shoes. Saves wear and tear in my soles.

(As you might guess, the uppers wear out long before than the soles...).

Brought Allegra to the station for the train to visit her boyfriend in Westchester. I like the looks of this very busy yet stylish old depot, restored in the '80s. Lots of detail in its architecture, and I'll try for some more pictures later. Ev
en if the floor needs to be washed...

Thanks as always to Mary for hosting this Tuesday phenomenon. Check out th
e creativity and imagination of the participants.

I think your post is very creative and imaginative.

Thanks for your visit and comment on mine about the Redstart and the autumn leaves. Now you have me thinking! I wonder how long they stay around before heading south for the winter...hmmmm.

Red tile is always a nice way to cover a floor. If you have pics of the rest of the building, I'll enjoy looking at those, too! Cute feet.

I like the perpective of your photo. Great red tiles, and even your shoes take on a red tint against them. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

Great photo Ralph! Tile is nice, one day I get around to tiling my floor and pull up the old worn out linoleum.

Good one for Ruby Tuesday, Ralph. (You wouldn't really expect anyone to clean the grout between floor tiles at a train station, now would you??)

I do like Union Station, it's got a lot of personality but could use some better parking as the garage fills up fast during the week!

Darned commuters to New York City!

What a nifty perspective... Bet it's hard to keep that floor clean with the amount of traffic it gets. I love train stations.

The world is full of things you never come to think of - like the shoes in your case. It´s really interesting to imagine shoes with perfect soles but worn and torn upper side !

I've never met grout that didn't need cleaning :)
great shot Ralph, really creative perspective.
I'd love to see more photos of the station - or your good looking legs! ;)

Hi Ralph -- I wasn't going to comment on your good looking legs but Dianne took care of that, cat's out! Good WW post!
Thank you for checking in on my Red Russian oldies, Happy WW!

Dear Ralph,
I like your perspective on both the red and the staircases.
I like your freewheelin' mind with an eye for important details.
Have a busy and interesting week, even with your daughter away for school.
Or was that one of my imagination, since my one and only daughter started on college yesterday, eleven hours drive away form home.(Sob,sob)

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog! Nice tile and don't worry about the grout. People are just going to step all over it anyway!
