Ruby Tuesday

It is time again for Mary's phenomenal weekly activity, Ruby Tuesday. As always, this is fun and we have enough red shots to play along again.

This week is our late feline friend Sir Humphrey. And he is sitting on what we referred to as 'His Magic Pink Rug'. This is a pink bathroom rug sit
uated at the bottom of the ramp in the garage. We don't have a clue as to what drove him to the pink rug...but he seemed to enjoy just sitting / lounging / sleeping on it.

Was he in dreamland here? Is he in an introspective trance? Is he imagining riding on the mythical flying rug? This was a favorite place for him to hang. He never said why, but he appeared to be happy here as nowhere else.
He was a good guy. Linus and Rig
by aren't attached to the rug, and Linus is even afraid to enter the garage. So the rug is not their forte. But Sir Humphrey enjoyed his magic carpet...

He looks like a sweetie. I wouldn't mind a magic red carpet, myself. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

Always love cats! Good point about linking back to Mary, I didn't do that. I'll try and remember to do that next week.
Cheers

Pink is a soothing peaceful color. He just like the peace vibe, that's all.

I am here with Ruby Tuesday and Naked On a Horse.

What a good looking kitty! But I noticed you said he was your "late feline friend." Sorry to know he is no longer with you -- and his pink rug.

Pretty kitty on the red carpet. Maybe she was waiting for it to fly away :)

Funny how pets like some places more than others.

I guess that's as good a place to hang out as any.

Now I'm humming Steppenwolf too :).

Who knows the ways of the wild? Or the domesticated for that matter?

Sir Humphrey looked quite regal on his rug and perhaps that alone was reason for him to be there!

He does look content and as if he is a million mice away.

I loved the commentary in the last paragraph - you write your thoughts well.

Aw... what a beautiful kitty. Funny how they gravitate to certain spots. The late great Katrina had a special affection for a pink blanket.

What a beautful cat, and what a loving memory of him. It seems we had similar ideas this week. Nice entry!

You do wonder what cats are thinking or why they chose a particular place to call their own. He was a fine looking cat...

Dear Ralph...I saw you at Felisol's, my best friend.
I liked your comment about telling her to take her pictures. You are so right. It doesn't matter the camera. My sister, Betty has cameras that are worth thousands and I have just cheap ones but I really do believe that my husband and I take way more pictures than she does..Ha!

I loved this kitty as soon as I laid eyes on him. I feel bad that he is not around anymore. Sir Humphrey! What a scrumptious name!
I had a black kitty just like him and I called him Sir Galahad. He lived until he was 16.
Bernie has a cat named Shopper, but that Sir Galahad was the love of my life! Besides Shopper is a girl and I like guy cats a whole lot more!
Take care, eh?....From Terry

PS..I live in Welland Ontario and once a year we used to go over to Steubenville for a Bible conference. That one restaurant there was so cool that had pictures of Frank Sinatra lining the walls.
We haven't been there for a few years though.
