Shadow Shot Sunday - Fore!

Shadow Shot Sunday arrives and not a minute too soon. Of course, I have submitted snowy yet shadowy scenes for previous posts on this fun meme. But of course it is Autumn north of the equator (not the lovely Spring we see Down Under), and since Winter approaches, I was looking for a warmer weather shadow. I found it! This is me at Main Street Mini Golf in Hyannis on Cape Cod. I enjoyed this place, as it is old and quaint, the wood bumpers are weathered and the right size for me to play a round from the wheelchair. It was August 2003, and a glorious day on the Cape with plenty of sun and sea breezes from nearby Nantucket Sound. And shadows! One of my foursome, Patti, daughter Allegra or son Cameron, captured me trying to make par. Family vacations are always fun, and with the sun above, shadowy captures a nice souvenir...

A great and colorful shadow shot! Hope you had fun, Ralph, and it sounds like you did! We actually have some sun today, so I'd better get out with the camera to stock up on some shots for the coming weeks because the rain will be back tomorrow!!

Enjoy your day!!

A great shot of you and your shadow playing golf at the park in the sun. We are lucky to have sunshine almost every day of the year.

Great color, great shot. Nice that the design of that old course made it accessible.
When we traveled with my mother I came to appreciate which facilities complied with the ADA and which didn't.
Thanks for you comments.

Lovely crisp shadow that indicates strong, warm sunlight! The shadow wanders beautifully into the mix of colours in the flower bed! Great photo!

Great shot! No pun intended! Hey, so you must have all your photos scanned in since some of them goes a way back before everybody had digital. Or, were you one of the ones to jump on board early on?

I'm loving the bright colours in this photo! Sounds like a wonderful day out. I'm a hopeless golfer but I do enjoy playing mini golf. Sadly there are not many mini golf places around where I am. I'll have to visit Cape Cod one day!

...in my dreams ;)

Love the colours in this shadow shot. Your story tells about a place that sounds very nice and interesting to visit. Wonder where Cape Cod is situated. Shall google for that right now.

Enjoy your week!

Ah, holiday shots in the sun - you can't beat them. In 1986 we took our three children on a trip overseas and we still have such happy memories of our all-too-brief time in the Cape Cod area. Thanks for bringing those memories back.

Fun shadow shot here ... and your scenic sky shot in the previous post is marvelous too, especially when embiggened! Hope you're having a wonderful week with that lovely wife of yours. I'll be playing catch up indefinitely it seems ;-)
