Sepia Scenes- Seasonal Shift

Sepia Scenes is a fun meme hosted by Mary the Teach. Today I offer a seasonal mix of several years ago.

The view is of the railing on our front ramp and an autumnal harvest pumpkin. And this one offers a smile, albeit painted. It looks like Fall and Winter in the same frame. A light sepia is the mood, lessening the glare of the stark winter precip and adding a slight tone that accents the burnt orange gourd. A soft, subtle, seasonal and sepia alteration.

Blargh, I hate snow and winter. But that's a really cool shot, and it looks good in sepia. :)

Hi, Ralph,
Snow is good looking on pictures.
The sepia enhances the texture beautifully.
I haven't finished my autumnal season
work, and wood appreciate to wait till December 24 th for snow.

Neat shot in sepia. I see that ol' smilin' jack-o-lantern. MB

I think I remember you doing snow once before, of your backyard. I love this little pile of the white stuff.

I was about to ask if this was taken recently, unless you live in Colorado & experience the snow storm there last week.
I like how the corner of the railing shows depth to the shot - but not looking forward to the snow! hehehee

I never thought of snow as a good motive in sepia, but it really is! Thanks for visiting my blog!

Ralph, great sepia! What's that hook sticking out on the right side (as I look at the photo)? You leave me wondering! Ha! :)
