Sepia Scenes - Golden sepia

Sepia Scenes salutes sumer sights. The past returns us to Big Stony Lake in northern Minnesota. A subject from the past reappears, and it is Golden Retriever Brandy. Not my dog, but a nicer dog you couldn’t find. The land of sky-blue water is a great place for any retriever. Throw the branch or ball into the lake, and she would happily oblige. You could make that throw 100 times, and she would still return it...This is a mild antique edit of a most pleasant and wet golden canine sitting under the sun. See sepia artistry at Mary’s great meme!

I appreciate the gentle hues and easy saturation, plus love to hear about a good dog.

Brandy is quite the handsome girl. She looks so peaceful and yet so ready and alert to following a great toss yet again.

Beautiful photo to bring back beautiful memories! Minnesota a great place I think. Big Stony, isn't that up by Itasca State Park. Love that park, can't wait to get back there. Kind of a long drive from the Twin Cities area, we are just north of the Twin Cities. Beautiful area though!

golden retrievers and labs are among the best family dogs I think. Playful, friendly and patient, they get along well with even young children. Very nice picture

I'm very fond of golden retrievers. Once a week, I walk with one in the forest near here. The dog is very good-natured and well-behaved.

Now that right there is the kind of soft-focus that I'm hoping for when I shoot my friend's wedding this Saturday! Beautiful shot of a beautiful dog!

Excellent effect, Ralph! I'll make a collage including your SS post and post it on my post later today or tomorrow...

I have a real tender spot in my heart for dogs. Nice dogs, that is, and this obviously is a nice dog! Looking good in just a touch of sepia.

Retrievers tucker me out just thinking about them! Boundless energy with an endless desire to please - I think that about describes them!
