Ruby Tuesday - Exit Stage Right

The simplest geometric rubies often show up when lest expected - if we aren't paying attention.

So for Ruby Tuesday, I looked back to Allegra's graduation, knowing that the U-of-Hartford's school colors are white and red.

Voila, this is one that fits perfectly! It is the stage for the main ceremony taken the day before the event. Back then, we were paying attention to the smiles of the graduates above. With a ruby red carpet underfoot, just perfect Mary's fun meme!

Congratulations to you and Allegra, a bit late. Perfect choice for today, though, as its always nice to remember such a great day! You all must be so proud.
p.s. By Jove, I think you're right--we were riding Hwy 61 but in my case, ignorance is indeed bliss :O)
Happy Tuesday.

AH! A before the event photo! I hope Allegra has settled into her life as a graduate. Have you told us what she is doing next?

I like the shape you have here - the dog's leg. Red and white is always a satisfying combination. The other thing that interests me in your photograph is the damage that may be done to the lawns beneath the temporary staging. You know that yellowing and flattening of the grass. I guess with a good green keeper the university can coax it back into looking beautiful fairly quickly. Have a good week, Ralph.

It's true, ruby is everywhere, we just have to pay attention. Nice one Ralph!

Yes, red always show up at unexpected places and almost everywhere if we look clearly enough :)
This month of August is a sea of red and white given it's my country's National Birthday.

The red certainly fits the meme! I also like the color blocks created by the awning.
Thanks for visiting my daylilies!
