Ruby Tuesday - Urchins

Little rubies are on our minds as these rubies are now much bigger. Growing in age often intrudes with our memories - but they are still great kids, just not as small...

For Mary's Ruby Tuesday this week, I return to the scanned prints of yore.

Such as (maybe) six-week old Cameron and just turned two Allegra. She was not fond of the camera in this era, but seems to be hiding a smile. What is amusing Cam is unknown to the grown-ups. Maybe he was smiling for photographer / mom Patti. Who can say, but cute is as cute does...

The pics you post of your memories are always so cute Ralph!
I read something yesterday about having little ones and the message was don't blink. That is so true. My own have/are expecting their own. And yet, just last night I dreampt of them as kids. :)

Never seen a six week old baby laugh that heartedly.
Allegra, same age as our "baby"is big sister, a very proud one.
Your children must have had the best of all growing ups with so much love and kindness going round.

Very lovely.

Allegra has a sweet, self-conscious look while Cam has not a care in the world. What an expression of joy on his face.

I alwaYS look forward to seeing what you might have to say about my RUBIES post. Poor you..you always have to look at food of some sort..I am seldom out where there's more interesting things to post about.
ANYway, I always appreciate your kind words...:)

Allegra is a beauty at every age
and I love, love, love Cams's giggle smile - pure joy

I am partial to the well handles in my farm photos too - I was looking for them all over but some of the climbing and walking was starting to get to me - I must make another trip there

That big smile just makes you smile in return. And maybe big sister knows what the joke really is? Cute memories.

What sweethearts! Is there anyone who doesn't smile when he or she sees a smiling baby? If so, his/her heart must be frozen into stone.
