Who doesn't love a parade? Well, I do in our small town (19,000) of Ansonia, with fire trucks, brownies and Cud Scouts, our high school band and cheerleaders, drum and bugle corps marchers and so on. You may infer that we like to watch the proceedings on the shady side of Main Street.
The anticipation of the proceedings us not lost on this anonymous boy as he sits on the curb. A parade is a marvelous thing, but we are near the end of the parade route so the reviewing stand in front of City Hall keeps the parade a distance away, but only for a little while...
