Compared to my Friday post that showcased baby Allegra, Allegra is bigger, but just as radiant.

She works part-time as a docent for the Derby (CT) Historical Society. She gives tours and instruction of David Humphreys House (built in 1695) with school age children on a day in 1762 program. She is in colonial dress as she stands in the parlor of the house.

She portrays Elizabeth Clark Hull, grandmother of Commodore Isaac Hull, Derby native and U.S. Navy hero who commanded the USS Constitution during the War of 1812. And judging by her looks here, she plays her part quite well!

A fine docent she is, too! I asked her quite a few questions today that she readily knew the answer to and even taught me the meaning of "Pop goes the weasel" which I never knew!

Hope her headache is better and it was lovely to see you again, Ralph, even though briefly.
