Ruby Tuesday - Flagged

It is time for Ruby Tuesday, and a little bit of red can transform the season we live in today - winter. With another blizzard forecast for Wednesday of up to 16 inches (40 cm) of snow, we think warm thoughts of a warmer time. That time being on a delightful day of warmer temps last May. The flags say 'ruby', the feeling is a nice day without snow. Brrrrr! See much more red at Mary's fun meme...

A lovely warm day. We are due to get some snow tomorrow too. I hope not much, I am already looking forward to spring. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

We flew our school flag at half-mast today and had a moment of silence due to the shootings in Arizona. And then we carried on with our day. Is this to become the norm? So sad that our own citizens are often our worst enemies.

Stay safe and warm. I'm looking forward to a snow day!!!

After solstice my hopes are brightening.
Now the day has already become 25 minutes longer.
A bright reminder of what we can expect are just timely, I think.
I admire the way you always manage to stay positive, Ralph.
Happy New Year to you and your family, dear Ralph,

It is COLD here, very little snow though. Stay warm and close to home, if at all possible.

You're absolutely right. Looking at the photos that were taken during warm weather gives us a warm feeling.

That's a beautiful shot of the flags!

I cannot think of anything nicer than an explosion of tree in full leaf to invite warmth into my poor cold feet. I have wool socks on, the heater is on and I still cold.

You poor, poor people up north need some respite from the brutality of winter! Wish I could send you some sunshine.

Another blizzard? The east coast is really getting hammered this year. (And boy am I glad I don't live there anymore LOL - you can keep all that frozen white stuff!)
