Ruby Tuesday - October snow?

Ruby Tuesday arrives a mere day after  an odd occurrence.

Snow on October 29, that is. Ansonia received 4 inches (10 cm) of the frozen precip, Being in southern Connecticut not far from Long Island Sound, makes this stranger still.

The ruby is the taillight on my Dodge the morning after. A strange phenomenon, it may look pretty, except 29 October is a tad too early...

It was a freak show, wasn't it? It's good you got a red taillight to show off the snow for Ruby Tuesday.

Too early for 4 inches of snow. Be safe!

Gee, and here in my part of Canada we didn't get any!

Our weatherman teased us we would have some but I never saw any.
I told Patti I hoped this early snow wasn't a forecast of what's to come for you after last year. :)
Perhaps the brillant sun shining on the red taillight is a good oman.

Oh, my, I thought Norway was cold, but this beats anything I have experienced. 10 centimetres of snow in October. Hope it's gone by now.
I also enjoyed reading about your home town Ansonia.
How very interesting.
Before I begun blogging I was of the impression that America was giant cities, giant rivers and mountain ridges, and nothing much but prairie and desert in between.

The reality, I've learned is that Americans too like living in small communities with lots of culture and human relationships.
Good. I like America better all the time.

That really is crazy - I'm standing here in short sleeves, sorry :)
The snow does make your taillight look very festive, though. Enjoy!

Completely bizarre, I don't remember ever having snow on Halloween growing up.

Freaky weather, that's for sure. I'm happy it's about 95 percent gone today.
