Sepia Scenes is back, and I like this view of one of many 1960s tract homes, the suburban reality of the era. More specifically, it was our home around December 1963, The place is Wickham Drive in East Hartford, Connecticut, the time around Christmas - and snow on the ground. A perfect painting with a mild antique edit. Enough antique, in fact, to take care of the sun-drenched and nearly blinding snow. The kids at the time just wanted to play in it - and did.
