This old song was played by Dr YaYa in a similar raucous style: Sea Cruise, by NOLA songwriter Huey 'Piano' Smith and artist Frankie Ford

Sounds like a lot of fun! Flash player is not letting me play your video - will get to it when sorted!
Great to see the gazebo being used for free concerts.
Beautiful soft shadows drifting round the stage! This looks like a great experience on a summer evening!
Love the golden glow of the setting sun.
Outdoor concerts, just like outdoor movies, are the best! I plan to see Wizard of Oz this month. There is something about sitting outside that makes it all the more special.
What wonderful shots, Ralph. I love how music incorporates most things, from photography to art, to relaxation, to fun events, to life in general.
Nice shadow captures from the concert. Was it crowded?
I don't make music for eyes. I make music for ears.
Adele
but we shoot shadows for eyes! :)
What a great and fun post. Lovely shadows
Oh how we love a bit of creole music! Don't you love the free concerts? We are very fortunate to have free concerts in the park right across from our house....every Sunday (although tonights might be cancelled due to the rain & storms right now....but we won't complain...RAIN...glorious RAIN!!)
Great shadows....and music today Ralph!! Enjoy the week ahead!
Connecticut band playing N.O. blues with the lead wearing a Hawaiian lei! Now, THAT is cross-cultural!
pretty gazebo, a lot like the one we have near the marina
they have concerts there too
I love saxophone music
Would could be better than a concert, replete with shadows?
Day’s End Shadows
Nothing like sitting and enjoying an outdoor concert! We did on Sat - at theMill Race Folk Festival and the 3 we heard were young fiddlers from 12 to 16. Amazing!
