Shadow Shot Sunday - Shadowy Route
It's Shadow Shot Sunday 2 time again. Last Sunday, we participated at the CDR Wheel-a-Thon. This was a walk/roll benefit event for a cross-disability center for independent living. Held along Long Island Sound in West Haven CT, the day started cloudy, but in less than an hour, the southerly autumnal sun shone bright and warm (77°F / 25°C). Perfect day and route for shadows of course...taken by the always lovely Patti, one being Allegra walking past a spilled water bottle and goldenrod lining part of the route. Nice event, day and shadows. A nice trifecta :)

Allegra looks like she has a shadow tail! What a fun shot and the goldenrod is beautiful!
Paula's right- she has sharp eyes! I've never seen goldenrod growing in such abundance- lovely shadows of them.
Ha ha. Where shadow and spill meet.
I always get such a kick out of walks filled with shadows following me...or appearing in front of me. They add so much. Lovely shots.
It sure does look like a beautiful day, Ralph!
I like that last shot-beautiful.
the spilled water bottle looks like a shadow of a hanging basket! Cheers and have a lovely day!
Lovely shadow shots and light is clear and crisp!
Happy Weekend to you,

Glorious sunshine highlights the lovely surroundings featured in these photos.
Great day for it! Did you walk or roll?
What a lovely day for a walkathon. Great shadows as well.
Great example of a shadow.
That first shot is perfectly framed, and I love the contrast between the pedestrian's pink top and the bright blue sky.
