Shadow Shot Sunday - Streetlife serenade, shadowy of course

Shadow Shot Sunday 2 occurs on a quiet Friday afternoon when I happened to be on Elizabeth Street in neighboring Derby. I was on the way to the Gallery@37 and had the camera with me to take views of the area. With an eye toward shadows, the hazy and high clouds allowed for a shadow or reflections even as tomorrows rain clouds were gathering.

Alas, I forget to check the batteries and they ran out - so these four views are what I have, Clockwise from the top: The Sterling Opera House, Derby Elks (deer and antlers too :),  my all winter sand covered and unwashed Doge van, and the old AT&T building. Nothing extraordinary is here on this early afternoon - nothing but shadows. I will have fresh batteries next time...

Dear Ralph
You have NO snow in these shots!!!!
You are so lucky .. we still have a lot of this darn white stuff to struggle through .. I think my garden is fed-up on it as well.
Your town looks like a very nice one
I always wonder how on earth the side walk trees survive covered by cement?

Love the old buildings. They match. And the car looks like a scrying mirror.

Your photos are lovely, evoking nostalgic architecture. I like the perspectives, and like the reflections in the car and its windows.

Hi Lil bro!

Sorry for the late visit. I am so busy with all the issues at work. It is a pandemi around Sweden. People are sick and we, who are left in our job are the ones who role the timetable to work-out.

You really did a good job! I never think that you have a non-snow streets now? We still have ICE around and about and it is absolutely freezing and it was forecasted to snow once again this week ahead.

Darn! Long time winter makes Swedes sick.

Hugs to you and Patti.
