Shadow Shot Sunday - More of the same

Friday morning...
Pretty (if invonvenient)

Shadow Shot Sunday 2 is back after yet another snowfall in southern Connecticut. Not so much in depth, the Thursday snow was at 7 in / 18 cm, but with a hint of sleet that froze on top to make a crunchy top that really taxed our small electric Toro snowthrower. Happily the kid from across the street plowed the icy snow pile by the street to make the work of our designated snow clearer (Allegra) a bit easier...

Yet, sun, snow and shadows do offer an artistic impression for SSS2, as this has been an oft posted theme for (see below). Snow in any amount can be an inconvenience - but with a bit of style...

You have more snow than we in Helsinki! It's been +1 C and it's not spring yet! Normally in Feb it's cold and lot of snow. Spring is long but difficult to say actual date...End of March, April...
I don't miss snow or cold - I'm a sun person! :)

We will appreciate the arrival of spring this year, Ralphie!

Let's hope we only have another month of this.

Those cars in the first photo look as if they are wearing a thick fleecy blanket. An amazing sight.

Wow! Sochi could do with some of that snow - they're running short reportedly!!

Won't you be glad when you don't have to say, "More of the same" anymore?

Lovely shadows.

As Blogsite said, Helsinki +1 degree and Stockholm is +5 degrees, rainy, dark and windy. No shadow of snow.

You guys, take care... love your shots though of the tough winter overthere.

Hugs to all,

I've seen lots of great shadow shots with the recent snows, but I'm still ready for spring.

Dear Ralph
YES !! ... more of the same almost every day here as well .. makes for thinking of Spring a little difficult but I hold tight to that "promise" of seasonal change ;-)
Love these vintage photos .. makes me think of my past when I look at yours as well. Snow was no surprise then so I wonder why it should be now ? LOL
