Shadow Shot Sunday - Defying Gravity

For Shadow Shot Sunday 2, Patti captured a few views of the BMX stunt riders at the recent Pierre Lallement bicycle festival on Main Street in Ansonia. These riders move fast up to and over the ramps on the street and even a steep uphill set against the trailer - a very cool breeze wafted over the spectators, but just enough sun added to the shadowy captures. The riders seem to float through the air with the greatest of ease...

Great captures! Action shots can be difficult, so job well done!

Thanks for visiting my shadow shot today. I still like to participate occasionally when the photo warrants inclusion. :)

Great shots but I'll keep my bike on the ground! :)
Leaves are crazy - they get greener in front of my eyes - sun's shining and green is getting deeper....aaah, spring!

Gutsy riders. Stunning action shots. And love the lime green colouring of the ramp matching the person's vest in the fist photo.

Never, ever would I attempt such a stunt, but I admire those with the guts to try!
