Whimsical Windows - Wedding at the Carousel

Toby most graciously hosts the architectural meme Whimsical Windows/Delirious Doors. On 3 July, we attended a beach wedding and reception at the carousel building at the New Haven (CT) Lighthouse Point Park. Our friends and neighbor's middle son Jason was the groom, the lovely Jade his bride. The still operating carousel horses and camels have been lovingly restored and although devoid of modern A/C, the tall ceiling and opening windows and facing the Sound allowed for a remarkably cool venue. The always lovely Patti took the pics with her very nice Lumix point-and-shoot. A lovely couple and lots of windows...

I once attended a white wedding at the beach in southern Spain, I think it the most romantic way getting married. :)
lots of windows facing the sea, lovely indeed.

If I were to get married again, I might be tempted to chose such a lovely (and whimsical) spot.
Those windows looking out onto the water look so romantic.

Getting married on the beach, wow! What could be more picturesque and perfect? I thought that kind of thing only happens in the movies :)
Those windows are perfect for letting in so much light and pleasant breezes, congratulations to the happy couple!
