Shadow Shot Sunday 2 this week occurs after a snowstorm on Tuesday of 13 in / 33 cm of the fluffy cold precip falling upon our abode in the Ansonia Uplands. I am not a fan of the cold nor of winter except for the fresh snow adding a nice canvas for sun and shadow.
Given that it is unusually cold for southern Connecticut, about 17°F (-8°C) with a stout chilly wind falling upon us. At least there is sun over the front (L) and back (R) yards. Another 10 in / 25 cm for Monday. I can wait...

I feel the same way about the cold, but as you say, winter snow makes for lots of stunning photos.
The snow make a nice blank canvas for shadows!
send your snow over here.....we're in a serious drought!
And do have a great day! Love your snowy pics!
lovely intricate patterned shadows
much love..
Such enchanting shadow patterns in the snow. Lovely.
Shadows are especially nice on snow!
Wonderful snow-landscape. It really looks like the weather in germany :-)
This is my Shadow-shot -
Greetings
Such fine lines of shadows neatly arranged!
Shadows on snow are lovely, but for those who have to shovel the stuff, well, they probably don't eyes for the shadows, but only for how much remains to be thrown out of the way!
I wonder if the one we just got is headed your way.
Snowy wonder! Something that kids would go out and play in, for sure. I'll stay where it's warm and dry!
;-)
