Seeing as I utilize hand controls for driving (one on the control, one on the steering wheel), taking road pictures while driving my Dodge is never a good idea. So as per usual good practice, the always lovely passenger Patti, handles the photo gathering process. Thus, Shadow Shot Sunday 2 allows me to showcase prosaic and normal road pics as I safely traverse Interstate 91 North in Middletown Connecticut. My computer woes are solved, for now, When the Mac died, I purchased a used Windows 7 machine locally. Since I had to retrieve my data and pics from iDrive and my Mac external drive would not upload into a Win computer, I have spent a large part of the week e-mailing myself photos and such from Patti's computer. I finally have time to post a post (!) for Shadow Shot Sunday 2. It is a photo I found from 1990, and Allegra about to enter her ride to 'drive', her first car - a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. We parents were not afraid...how much trouble could an 18 month old get into driving a pedal powered vehicle?

Shadow Shot Sunday - Speedy Seasonal Scenic

It's time again for Shadow Shot Sunday 2...the post is late as we had to leave early to attend the First Communion of a niece in East Windsor, about 50 miles (80 kM) north. So as to not to ignore the shadowy world, I drove the always lovely front seat passenger Patti was the designated photographer. 

Today, these shots were taken on the way up and are northbound on the Wilbur Cross Parkway, CT Route 15. It is old (1949) and today, sans the usual weekday commuter hordes (and upon new Firestone tires), a nice ride upstate. The left is us going uphill to the soon to arrive downhill which will then go uphill to the West Rock Tunnel. Spring colors and shadows work nicely together for a shadowy post. Hate to miss SSS2...

Shadow Shot Sunday 2 is back! The always lovely Patti is a fine passenger as we travel the highways/motorways to and fro. Naturally, the driver is probably best consumed with the mechanics of driving alone and not driving and taking pictures at the same time.
