Looking out the window upstairs at the Quincy Market, we look across toward Faneuil Hall, last renovated in 1899 and flanked by a tall modern building from maybe the 1990s. Not at unattractive, but devoid of New England style details such as dormers and half-moon shaped windows. A great city with great architecture!

Layers and towers of windows here! Love the contrasting styles including the arched ones on the left!
That's a lot of varying window styles there! I guess it keeps the window washers busy!
Good eye - that really is a stark difference! I loved the time I spent in Boston, such a beautiful and very friendly city. Thanks so much for sharing, and for your enthusiasm about my meme :)
