Shadow Shot Sunday 2 arrives for us on a gray day with cold rain. Thus, I showcase summer shadows. Such as in days of yore on Cape Cod. First is the max shadow view taken by our kids on a Duck vehicle. Beyond the stylish houses, shadows fall while wavy reflections bob on the briny waves. This is an attractive and very nice neighborhood...
Now, on the spacious and barely occupied Kalmus Beach, there are shadows to be found.
We have to look hard to see them. And they appear under the slender beach. Under a few blades of grass, feathery shadows fall about the soft Atlantic sand. These shadows are tiny, so no protection for the humans who forgot to apply sunblock...See more shadowy art at SSS2...

I do see the tiny shadows and I'd certainly be wearing my sunscreen!
I've never been on a duck. My husband use to ride them in Hot Springs, AR all the time when he was a kid.

The Cape Cod scene is enchanting! That looks like a small lighthouse near the central home? Or is it just an added fantasy to the home? Love the beach scene...my favourite world where beach grasses etch their own fine shadow not big enough to share with humans!

Each time I visit my daughter in Boston we head to a beach for the day. The west and east coasts beaches are so different. One is... when we are driving up to the beach here and getting close, the smell of seaweed it strong! LOL Not so on the east.
I miss this scenery! Delightful images Ralph, it warms me a little now that were covered with snow here. Thanks for contributing art to shadow shots!

Reflections and those lil shadows scattered on the white sand, makes me fly somewhere warm and sunny.

Summer pictures chase away the dreary day ~ lucky for us, summer is around the block or two!
We took our kids on a duck boat several years ago in Boston ~ lots of fun, and the boys, who love EVERYTHING to do with military life, were in heaven!
