Shadow Shot Sunday - Street fair signage
Shadow Shot Sunday 2 returns for us shadow hunters. Our intent in this fun meme is to look for these in any venue, Today, it is the street fair Derby Day held last Saturday on a beautiful day of sunshine, low humidity, blue sky and of course, shadows...
Along the small city's main (and closed to traffic) thoroughfare Elizabeth Street, local restaurants set up fair fare signs promoting various tasty foods...and it was not just the vendors on the streets that had shadows - a few of the regular storefront dining establishments offered a shadowy menu too
With plenty of savory eats from antipasto to pizza and even more, perhaps an ice cream treat from the blue and white truck on the city green would make for a fine desert

Fun Sunny Summer Days....full of shadows! I'd have to say though...that the ice cream truck has our eye at the moment Ralph :) Nothing like hearing the ice cream truck up and down the street in the summer, don't you think?!

Love the idea of a shadowy menu! So much sunshine raining down in the streets! We've had rain raining down and I've had to dig into my wintry archives this week!
Your shadows, as always, are a treat for the eyes.
I am especially loving the ice cream truck..I have been out shopping and groc. shopping, it's HOT out there, I got home and Mr. Sweet had the frozen yogurt out, I peeled some fresh peaches, filled the blender with peaches, blueberries and the yogurt...a little milk and I am on cloud nine....so I am cool, looking at all your COOL shadows. :)

Seems like it was a perfect day for a street fair - and wow, does that food sound good. I especially like that shot of the ice cream trucked parked in the dappled shade.
