The return of Shadow Shot Sunday 2 is here for the week. Patti and I went to a wedding on Wednesday at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven - the reception is in the carousel house at the city owned beach, and it was a very nice affair with the ceremony for the very attractive couple held on the sunny and sandy beach. Naturally, the many offered many a shadow opportunity, especially outside the 1916 building. These views include the Southwest Ledge Light at the entrance of New Haven Harbor - the cylindrical light was built in 1877 and is constructed of cast iron and shadow. The other views are of Long Island Sound water and a carnival going on in this urban oasis. Along with a fun and tasty reception and fireworks over the opposite West Haven shore. Celebrations and shadows - could anyone ask for more?

No, indeed, no one could ask for more!! What great shadow shots for the day, Ralph! Hope you have a fun weekend! Enjoy!
Anyone who can build a lighthouse with shadows is a master craftsman indeed! :)
So love that lighthouse design! It's like a mini turret (as of a castle)! Impressive on the cliff. Sounds like a unique area for a wedding!
GH and me both fall in love with Lighthouse.
Remember, when we were in Lisbon? We rode to Cabo da Rocca just to see the very famous lighthouse on the top of the hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. One of the most amazing trip I had.
Absolutely never ending shadows too from your part.
GB to you both.

I love the unique lighthouse.
Wonderful shadows and hopes that few shadows cross the path of the newlyweds!
I'd love to see the shadow shot the ferris wheel would make!
What a fun place to have a wedding reception! So, it seems that July 3rd will be their anniversary date, doesn't it?
