Ruby Tuesday - Mother's Day Appetizer

Ruby Tuesday 2 is back, with a simple appetizer prepared yesterday for a Mother's Day dinner (naturally, the two moms are the lovely Patti and her mom Marion). The simple chopped and marinated tomatoes were placed upon oven toasted ciabatta bread - it was sliced thin, so it was the perfect platform for the already mentioned tomatoes. Simple eats here that add a red to today - delicious in taste and ruby too!

It's looking like a mother's dream, being celebrated like this.
Even so, I suspect Ralph to have gone for the tomatoes for the purpose of Ruby Tuesday too.
I mean, once you've started looking for reds, it's almost like an obsession.
My hubby will stop the car and ask me, if I don't see that red barn over there.
And we celebrate Mother's Day in February.
