Ruby Tuesday Too - Cousins

We look for rubies all over for the meme Ruby Tuesday Too. And the red brick of a restaurant built in a 150 year old thread factory is a fine backdrop of two cousins, the six-year old cousin fixing the hair of her three-year old younger cousin during the event held that evening. Despite the blur of the pic, I would describe this scene as precious, cute or disarming...

Whimsical Windows - Cute Cousins

We are all fans of windows, doors and cute kids. So, for this installment of Toby's Whimsical Windows/Delirious Doors,  I revert all the way back to 1995/96 and peripheral views of suburban window styles behind cute smiling cousins. Shadow Shot Sunday 2 returns a mere two days after the dress up/down day of Halloween. And even we grownups dress for the occasion...here is a print taken on October 1987, a family party at our apartment then in our neighboring small town of Derby CT. I know all the players in this pose, especially the witch, whom you know as Patti. Who is not really a witch, that is... Since we were not parents at the time, many a relative, then children, complied with amazing costumes - the scene including non-spooky shadows to complete the day...

Ruby Tuesday Too - Ruby Pink

Ruby Tuesday Too allows us to continue our quest of finding a lot or a little red in any setting.

Here it is the soft pinkish color combined with the red sneakers to meet the theme with a hint of cute for emphasis :)

The year is 1996, the month July, daughter Allegra and two cousins at a family function. Cute may be an understatement here, but the now grown trio might prefer that term to adorable these days. The quest for rubies knows no limitations...
