Ruby Tuesday Too - Red Ride

Ruby Tuesday Too takes me back a week or so in my pursuit of a ruby red subject - and I found it! on Ansonia's Main Street at the Pierre Lallement Bicycle Festival, talented New Jersey stunt bicyclist Chris Clark was showing some moves on his ruby bicycle in front of the red trailer while wearing a red helmet. Thus, the right color for this fun meme was found!

Whimsical Windows - Unfurled Flags

For Toby's architectural meme Whimsical Windows/Delirious Doors, I go back a week to the Pierre Lallement bike festival in our small domicile of Ansonia Connecticut. A bike ride with serious cyclists starting in New Haven that has its finish line on Main Street, BMX stunt cyclists and more. And even a window reflection taken from the more modern (late 1960s) Wells Fargo Bank showcasing the early 1900s buildings across the street. Like in the meme's post, flags take up the focal points in the shot...Happy Independence Day to Israel!

Shadow Shot Sunday - Shadowy Ceremony

Patti got to the church on time...
Last time I wore a tux...

Shadow Shot Sunday 2 returns on a celebratory date in our home - today is the 28th anniversary of the day we wed, 10 May 1986.

The day was beautiful, 72°F / 22°C, low in humidity and blue skies for the marriage day of the lovely Patti and myself. A day we happily remember, and with shadows that fall within and throughout the scanned prints.

Our first dance was to Lionel Richie...Happy anniversary mon ami!

Wordless Wednesday - Diplomacy

Nineteen-month old Cameron meets the normally standoffish Tiger for the first time. I'd say the meeting went well!

Ruby Tuesday Too - Wheelchair Putt

I hope the ball cleared the obstacle on its way to a hole-in-one...
Ruby Tuesday Too is back, and I have found an old ruby scene, perhaps peripheral to the entire scene - but red nonetheless. The time is in the last decade, maybe 2004, the place Main Street Mini-Golf emporium in Hyannis on Cape Cod, the subject myself. I like this place as the old-fashioned putt-putt course was accessible to my then Invacare power wheelchair. Kind of like the an expensive rental of a private golf cart at a nice country club. Thus I could putt away with confidence if not the low score...
