Ruby Tuesday - Brigantine ruby
Ruby Tuesday 2 is back, and we follow the ever simple rule - red, a lot or a little. Today it is the latter...
This is a very early and very rare color print (Kodachrome?) in the family archives, my grandfather in front of the Sea Gull Cottages on the beach in Brigantine New Jersey in maybe 1953 or 54. Not much red apart from the bathing suit to each of the cottage doors. And perhaps a hint of a sunburn ruby on his skin - although the fading and sepia sand may mask it a bit...see ruby iterations at RT2!

Nice shot! He looks so happy!
PS I think Wee Garden over at my place is named for the benefactor, Mr Wee!!
And here I'm wondering who are the two ladies behind him...
He's a handsome man.
A wonderful glimpse of some family history! Love the pose on your grandfather! A sense of inner strength!
Such a classic photo from the past!
The whole composition speaks of simpler times. Just enough ruby in all of the right places. Well done.
Great pic. He is handsome!
