Ruby Tuesday - Neon Ruby

Ruby red now graces the driveway
Style on both ends

Our driveway is filling up...three sets of taillights, all ruby too
Ruby Tuesday 2 arrives on a momentous day - Allegra brought home her first car! And not just in any color, it is in our favorite hue for Tuesday (we can all guess :)...a 1996 Plymouth (Chrysler) Neon, with 97000 miles (156100 Km). It sounds like a lot, but for $3000 these days, 130,000-150,000 miles is normal...fully maintained too. So, no more car sharing between mom and daughter!

It's a beautiful car, good looking in every way a woman could want it. From a Norwegian point of view it's a very favorable price too.
I think it's sensible not to buy brand new cars.
New cars are falling fast in price. Older cars can be repaired by local craftsman. It's one thing we have to relearn; taking care of and repair, not buying and throwing away.
It's good for national economy and the personal responsibility as well.

Besides, what woman can resist a shining, red car? Not me!

Cars seem to be a common subject this week. A Neon Ruby...does it glow in the dark?

Congrats on the new shiny! An awesome deal, I'm currently looking for a new to me car as well. The independence they grant is hard to give up.
