The horsies are the actors that work well on their stage, which is a open and empty grass lot. A true venue for actors with hooves...

A venue for actors with hooves! Love it.
Happy shadow seeking, my dear.
too cute. :) visiting from SSS2
Ah, reminds me of days gone by! What wonderful, happy shadow shots for the day, Ralph! Love those horses!! Have a great weekend!
I used to have my own horse-this brings back memories of that. Except we didn't have body paint for them! Thanks for the nostalgic trip!
Hell Lil Bro!
How's everything? It seems your enjoying your sunny days, huh? OMG... I missed horseback riding. My kind of chillaxing time when I was a kiddo §:-)
How's Patti and the children? School break? Hoope everyone are in the best of everything.
Happy SSS & have a blessed w/end.

I think the last time I was on a pony was when I was the same age as the liitle ones in your photos!!
So much summer fun. The horse casts a pretty small shadow for its size.
sweet shots today ralph. thought about you today as old cars passed my eye in a parade. i've got some shots of them that you will see posted sometime...happy weekend!!!
a real fun event...
Love seeing little ones enjoying their first ride on a horse! Their faces always seem to have a mix of fear and excitement which blossoms into pure joy (most times!) Lovely scenes!
Pony rides is always fun for the kids, my children love it.
My Shadows
Have a blessed Sunday!
Dear Ralph : )
Thank you for such sweet comments on my post ! I love the fact that you and your family truly enjoyed PEI and it's famous red headed girl : )
My grandmother gave me the original book when I was just a child, sadly with all of the moves I lost it.
But the stories never leave your memory thankfully!
Your pony post is too cute ! I love that they painted the flanks of the horse (like face paintings for people : )
I still remember my first horse ride when I was only 3 or 4 .. my sister and I had a ball .. I still remember the names of the two horses .. Peaches and Carmel .. isn't it funny what we can remember and what we can't ? LOL
A very fun post Ralph .. thanks !
Joy : )
It must be an adventure when a kid has her/his first riding...
Happy Sunday!
ps. that guy came to our room with a key - reception mixed codes and cave the same room for other guests too!
We got a basket full of fruits and a bottle of sparkling but never going back again. sigh!
I haven't seen pony rides in ages! As a horse-crazy little girl, I used to love those. My father in law had a horse named Fred who was so gentle with kids that they referred to him as "the baby sitter".
What lovely shots of children and ponies! Great way to instill a love of horses. Great shadows for the week!
How neat to be introduced to horses at an early age!
Befriending the Dark
How sweet...reminds me of when my first grandson was about 5 or so, and it was HIS first horse ride...now he's 23!!!
Great images.
